Thought a couple sunset photos would be a fitting way to mark the end of the Palmetto Cove camping season.  Both of these are taken from the park (two different dates).  Because the camping area is wide open, you get lots of sky for sunrises and sunsets.   Watched a front blow through at dusk last time I was up at the park, and the display of cloud movement rolling past Caesar’s Head was just incredible.

The first of these is taken looking over the stand of woods along the western edge of the park; the second has just a few of those trees to the left of the photo and then the ridge leading to Caesar’s Head is in shadow below the sunset.
