we are planning a trip to the area, and we would need a full hookup site(16′ camper) from July 4th through the 12th. I understand the rate is 22.00 / nite. Do you have a spot available? Can we bring firewood?
We are from Missouri.
Thanks,

Thanks for letting us know the e-mail is down. I’ll put our internet guy on the job!
You can phone the office and double-check to make sure there isn’t an enormous rally scheduled, and to confirm the rates, but I’ve never ever had trouble with getting a site that week. But you can certainly reserve a spot if that will help you be more comfortable with your travel plans. All sites are full hook-up.
FYI on firewood: There are not fire rings at the sites, but if you have an off-the-ground fire pit (ie a grill, one of those raised fire-pit things, etc.) you can do a fire in that at your site. Otherwise, come on up to the picnic shelter and make use of the stone fireplace and rocking chairs.
We stock firewood for use at the shelter (no charge), but there’s no objection to bringing your own if you like. If you phone the hosts, they can tell you whether we’re running low. [I’ve never seen us run low, but, well, there’s a first time for everything.]
Stay in touch, and I hope you have a wonderful trip!
